About Maidene

An old idea of good service, kept carefully.

Well-run households have always depended on people who were thorough, discreet, and consistent. Maidene exists to offer that standard again, across the work a home needs most.

Why we exist

One household, five kinds of help.

Most homes need more than one kind of help over the years: regular cleaning, someone to keep the household running, support for a parent, a move. Each usually means a new company, new people, and a new set of terms.

Maidene brings that work under one standard. The same consultation, the same written plan, the same plain dealing, whichever service you need and however your needs change.

Our founding story will appear here once it has been written and confirmed.

What we hold to

Four principles, applied to everything.

  1. 01

    Discretion

We work in private spaces. What we see and hear in your home stays there, and we behave as guests, not visitors.

  2. 02

    Consistency

The same people, the same standard, the same written plan. Familiarity is part of the service, not a bonus.

  3. 03

    Plain dealing

Clear scope, clear prices, and honest advice, including when another provider would serve you better.

  4. 04

    The person first

Schedules bend around people, not the other way round. This matters most in care, and we apply it everywhere.

“The care of a house is a quiet art. Done well, it is barely noticed; it is simply there, every morning.”

Interested in joining us? See how we hire.

When you are ready, we will listen first.

Tell us a little about your household. We will arrange a conversation, then send a written plan. Nothing begins until you agree.

Tell us as much or as little as you like: who lives in the home, what feels difficult at the moment, and what a good week would look like. We will ask a few practical questions, then take the time to think before we suggest anything.

  1. 01

Tell us about the household. A short request form, or a telephone call if you prefer.

  2. 02

A conversation, at your pace. By phone, by video, or at home, whichever suits.

  3. 03

A written plan to consider. Who, when, and at what cost, set out plainly. You are under no obligation.
